Distribution, Trade and Logistics

Firms in this chapter focus on all-round advice on national and international trade and distribution contracts as well as structures: the subchapter ?distribution and franchising features firms which are active in commercial agents’ law, dealership, direct and structural distribution, licensing and franchising.

Some provide all-round advice to the supply chain, e.g. purchase and logistics agreements, as well as other forms of entrepreneurial cooperation. The firms featured in the subchapter ?customs and trade are active in the international regulation of the import and export of goods, services, and rights, as well as the complex maze of regulations governing EU market regulation, export control and customs.

On the international level, many firms also focus on international commercial law and World Trade Organization (WTO) regulations. Lawyers with experience in arbitration and commercial disputes can be found in the chapter on ?dispute resolution. Similarly, firms which concentrate on advice on regulatory projects, e.g. REACH, can be found in the chapter ?environmental and planning law.
