CMS HASCHE SIGLE

Comment: A firm highly recommended in construction, consistently sought after for large projects due to its broad range and international connections. CMS advises German companies abroad as well as foreign investors in Germany, and boasts its own office in Iran. US planner Olson Kundig relied on CMS for construction of the Children’s Museum in Berlin and so did the Finnish company Wärtsilä on the construction of a CHP plant in Mainz. The fact that the practice just named two new partners reflects its importance within the firm. CMS is also ahead of the game in BIM: it already has large-scale cases here while other firms have yet to dip their toes in the water. The firm is also succeeding in high-demand asset classes: new client B&B Hotels is being advised on the development of new hotel projects and Cube Asset II entrusted CMS for the first time with a student residence project.
Strengths: Plant construction, project development.
Recommended: Andreas Roquette, Dr. Nicolai Ritter.
