Comment: Recommended employment practice. Thanks to headline-making work for Kaiser’s Tengelmann and the VW supervisory board, Panzer-Heemeier now advises on top-class instructions that no one in the market would have thought possible two years ago. Work for VW – incl. advice by employment and corporate lawyers on separating from the board member for legal affairs – led to activity for Audi. And because of her work for Kaiser’s Tengelmann, the experienced Panzer-Heemeier was hired by Edeka for collective bargaining with Verdi in the North Rhine region. Brors expanded the core field of advice to Mittelstand companies with collective employment aspects (e.g. for Bergader and Nordsee) and data protection. The practice underlined its development with growth at associate level.
Recommended: Dr. Andrea Panzer-Heemeier (“efficient, great negotiator and in step with practice”, client), Dr. Tobias Brors (“dedicated and competent”, “highly respected”, competitors).
Practice: Broad setup, primarily providing regular advice to Mittelstand companies, increasingly complex collective bargaining/codetermination and restructuring. Data protection and flourishing advice to Japanese clients, also transactions. (2 partners, 1 counsel; 8 associates, 1 of counsel)
Clients: ?? Collective bargaining for Edeka for North Rhine region; VW supervisory board regarding pay and separation from board member for legal affairs Hohmann-Dennhardt; Audi supervisory board on separation from board member for development Knirsch; ongoing advice to Nordsee Group incl. reorganization of distribution; Huk-Coburg in conciliation board.
